Flite Suit Company opened for business in 1978.
Since that time, it has produced over 30,000
jumpsuits.  It has established a reputation for quality
suits and dependable delivery. Flite Suit was
purchased by Ray Ferrell in January of 1996. We
worked closely with Wendy Neustrup to continue the
tradition of quality products and quick service that
the company had experienced under her ownership.
In fact, we sent our manager to work with Wendy for
most of a month before the business changed hands.
Furthermore, we have worked hard to keep up with
the changing demands of today's skydivers to
ensure that Flite Suit Company products are the best
in the market place. Finally, since the company has
moved to SkyDance SkyDiving, we have had new
energy and input in designing and producing
jumpsuits to meet the needs of today's skydivers.

Some of the changes we have made include:

• Arch Factor Bootie: This is the first
  bootie that has built into it a Spandex panel to
  allow a comfortable and effective fit whether the
  jumper is in a maximum arch or a maximum
  track position. The bootie is available with any of
  the skydiving suits we make and includes a very
  durable non-skid sole as well as an easy
  maintenance design.
  
• Bomber Freefly Suit: Over the last
  five years we have tested and redesigned our
  Freefly Suit to make it the great product it is
  today - that is the Bomber Freefly line of suits
  and Freefly garments. We have incorporated the
  options Freefliers want, but kept the suit very
  simple and effective. To no one's amazement,
  theBomber Freefly suit is the best selling suit we
  make right now (Equal to the Flite Suit and the
  Body Suit). By far, the Bomber Freefly line is
  the best Freefly garb made for multi-dimensional
  flying today!
  
• Competition Grippers: The thicker,
  firm grips favored by relative work competitors
  are available as an option with all the available
  RW suits we make. (Except with the J grip option.)
  
• Reinforced Center Panel: The
  crotch area is one that often tears out in a
  jumpsuit. We have doubled it in the Body Suit
  and Student Suit and added gussets to the tighter
  fitting suits to improve fit and movement.
  
• Women's Suits: Although only about 20%
  of the skydiving population, we feel that good fit
  and function is critical to this portion of
  the sport. Addition of a princess cut (for RW)
  and other design features make this a better
  fitting suit for women. We also build a complete
  line of Women's Freefly suits in our Bomber
  Chicks line.
  
• Redesigned Camera Wing: We
  have reinforced the wing anchor points and made
  a more effective Zero-P Sandwiched wing in
  either of two standard wing designs. Additionaly,
  we have just released a new "C-Wing" design
  specifically for sit-flying camera flyers.
  
• Student Suits: We took the basic Body
  Suit design, strengthened it, and added
  redesigned Cordura protection on the knees and
  seat. Using Ultralite Tuff for the basic suit
  material, the limited colors, options, and sizes
  available make a suit that retails for less than
  the Body Suit, but provide a bullet-proof design
  that will stay in your program for years, not
  months.
  
• Updated Suit Line: Flite Suit Company
  has listened to the sport and added to its existing
  Suit lines by developing a Women's cut Freefly
  Line (Bomber Chicks), Freefly Jackets, Pants
  and Pullovers, as well as 2-piece RW and Freefly
  Suits. The Bomber Line of Freefly Products is
  one of the best built in the market, and is jumped
  by some of the finest Freefly Schools in the
  country! As always, we specialize in Custom

We still make the efficient, good fitting suits,
for which Flite Suit has been internationally
recognized and we do it more quickly than anyone
else in the industry!
